Summary
The CFA Society Boston Nominating Committee is actively seeking nominations for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization, responsible for strategic planning and fiduciary oversight of CFA Society Boston. The Board of Directors is led by the Chair of the Board and is supported by the CFA Society Boston staff.
In 2022, the Board of Directors approved a strategic plan that focuses on three key areas:
In order to support the goals of the strategic plan, CFA Society Boston and its nominating committee are looking for candidates who can contribute to these objectives. The key focus of the 2023 - 2024 Board year will be on DEI, however, there is also a need for subject matter experts in FinTech (AI, Machine Learning, Crypto Currency, eg) and Alternative Investments. The Nominating Committee also encourages diverse candidates and young/emerging leaders to consider applying.

Time Commitment
The Board of Directors meets for 2 hours every quarter. Board members are expected to sit on 1-2 board committees, which will require a minimum monthly commitment of 2 hours. Board members are expected to communicate through the CFA Society Boston social platform, Connect.
