Do you like to build and maintain relationships? We're seeking volunteers with some presenting experience to be Leaders for some local libraries. The dates for many of the next sessions are already set - we need your help gathering volunteers & maintaining the relationship going forward.
Libraries are the cornerstone of our Financial Literacy program, providing wide outreach to the community, touching many people and demographics. And they are frequently a reference to other community orgs.
Being a Library Alliance Leader is very rewarding with minimal effort. Most librarians are very well organized and schedule well in advance, send announcements to patrons, and set up AV. Usually it's not difficult to find volunteer presenters via Connect - so the Alliance Leader doesn't need to present or even attend (unless convenient).
A Library Leader can easily manage more than 1 Library relationship, if you have time. If none of these are convenient for you, but would like to volunteer for other Libraries in the future, please reply.
