CFA Society Boston Financial Literacy Volunteers 2023 - 2024

< return to list
Starts: 11-03-2023

Description:

CFA Society Boston’s Financial Literacy Initiative’s mission is to close the financial literacy gap by imparting financial knowledge without conflicts of interest, thereby improving the lives of the current and future investing public, the credibility of our industry and ultimately, the stability of our economy.

This community outreach program makes valuable financial literacy content available to the general investing public (high school onward) through alliances with non-profit groups. The initiative addresses issues such as Personal Finance, Basics of Investing, Retirement, Bonds vs. Equities, Choosing a Bank, and more. Volunteers can find the Financial Literacy opportunity that best fits their expertise and schedule. Throughout the year varying engagement opportunities are available including virtual class instruction, in-person class instruction, content creation, and working with volunteers on strategic CFA Society Boston FinLit initiatives. Registering as a volunteer grants you access to these volunteer opportunities as well as access to our FinLit volunteer community.

Thank you for your interest in engaging with your local Society by volunteering for a committee, initiative, or task force. Please read the Volunteer Roles, Responsibilities & Code of Conduct before completing your application. Please note volunteer appointments are for a one (1) year term, July 1 - June 30.
