The Career Development Committee plays a central role in helping CFA Society Boston achieve its strategic goals by ensuring members have access to mentorship, career guidance, and practical tools to navigate their professional journeys. The committee enhances mentoring opportunities for early career professionals, contributes to evaluating and aligning member benefit programs, and supports initiatives that help professionals navigate career transitions and progression. It also contributes to the planning and execution of career-focused networking events and participates in collaborative efforts to enhance community recognition and engagement. These responsibilities make the committee a key contributor to member development and career support.
Thank you for your interest in engaging with your local Society by volunteering for a committee, initiative, or task force. Please read the Volunteer Roles, Responsibilities & Code of Conduct before completing your application. CFA Society Boston will do its best to place you on a committee or provide you with an engagement opportunity. Please note committee and task force appointments are for a one (1) year term, July 1 - June 30. If you have any questions, please contact CFA Society Boston's office at info@cfaboston.org.
Please note: any member can serve up to SIX (6) single year terms.
